Magician have used silks in their act for many years. Silks are a trademark of all traditional famous magicians from Houdini, to Thurston, to Blackstone. Magicians are famous for pulling dozens of silk hankies from thin air, or producing a dove from an otherwise empty handkerchief. There is no end to the many uses for a silk handkerchief.
